Aunt Gussies' Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (do not use butter or margarine)
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 level tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, sour cream, lemon juice and lemon rind.
    Add flour until it makes a soft dough (3 3/4 to 4 cups).
    Add baking soda and salt with flour.
    Store in refrigerator for 24 hours.
