Hungarian Baked Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up
    1 small head cabbage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
    salt and pepper
    paprika
    2 apples, cored and sliced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
    2 tsp. caraway seed
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet with cover.
    Dust chicken with paprika.
    Brown chicken over medium heat.
    Place cabbage slices on bottom of a buttered 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cover and bake in 375\u00b0 oven until tender, about 25 minutes.
    Arrange apple and onion over cabbage.
    Sprinkle with lemon peel, sugar and caraway seed.
    Place chicken pieces on top and continue baking 30 minutes or until tender.
    Remove cover and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake 5 minutes more until cheese is melted.
