Heath Bar Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    5 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. whipping cream
    6 Heath candy bars, crushed
Preparation
    Heat oven to 250\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, combine crumbs, walnuts and butter.
    Spread in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    In large mixer bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until frothy. Gradually beat in sugar until stiff peaks form.
    Spread over crumbs.
    Bake 1 hour; cool.
