Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 potatoes
    1 chopped onion or 1/2 c. green onions
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 egg
    1/2 c. vinegar (white)
    1 lb. bacon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Boil potatoes; cool, then dice into cubes (can leave skins on if desired).
    Set aside.
    Fry bacon in a large frying pan.
    Remove bacon, but save grease.
    Saute onion (chopped) in bacon grease. When onion is soft, add salt, pepper and celery seed.
    Mix constantly.
    Re-add the bacon and potatoes (bacon must be broken up into bits).
    Add vinegar.
    Still mix constantly, then add egg. Serve hot.
