Chomboloto "Italian Coffee Cake" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 c. flour, sifted
4 tsp. baking powder
rind of 1 lemon
juice of 1 lemon
1 c. milk
1 tsp. annisette
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift flour and baking powder.
In another bowl, beat Crisco and sugar.
Add beaten eggs, lemon rind, lemon juice, annisette and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and milk alternately.
Grease and flour tube or Bundt pan.
Pour batter into pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
