Foolproof Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 yeast cake
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add salt.
    Scald milk and let cool to lukewarm.
    Add milk to mixture, then add yeast.
    Mix flour until it becomes a soft dough.
    Cover and let ripen 3 hours.
    Knead and make into rolls.
    Let stand 30 minutes.
    Bake until light brown at 350\u00b0.
