Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3 1/4 c. flour
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well mixed.
Shape dough into ball. Wrap and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, until easy to handle.
