Deep South Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    5 large eggs
    juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sweet milk
    3 2/3 c. cake flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add oil, 2 tablespoons at a time. Add eggs, one at a time, beating slightly after each other.
    Add lemon juice and rind and salt.
    Add the milk and flour alternately, ending with flour.
    Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
