Soft Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    4 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Work flour, sugar, cream of tartar, salt and shortening together as for pie crust.
    Add eggs.
    Add baking soda which has been mixed with milk and vanilla.
    Roll to 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into cookies.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
