Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. small red potatoes, boiled
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/4 c. Wesson oil
    1/4 c. white vinegar
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. boiling water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel boiled potatoes and slice thin.
    Add onion, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, mayonnaise and boiling water.
    Mix well and allow to stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
    Refrigerate.
    Best served the next day.
