Sweet-Sour Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. red wine vinegar
1/3 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation

In small saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch.
Stir in vinegar, pineapple juice, green pepper, pimiento, soy sauce, garlic powder and ginger.
Cook, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 1 or 2 minutes more.
Serve warm with spareribs, egg rolls or fried pork chops.
Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
