Louisiana Pineapple Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 stick oleo
Preparation
    Cook rice; drain.
    Make syrup as follows.
    In a saucepan, add sugar, pineapple and oleo; bring to a boil for 8 to 10 minutes. Mix with cooked rice; pour into buttered casserole dish.
    Bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
