Pickled Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sliced squash or cucumbers
    2 medium green peppers
    2 c. onions
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. celery seed
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix squash, peppers, onions and salt.
    Let sit for 1 hour. Rinse and drain.
    Mix last 4 ingredients together.
    Bring to boil and add squash mixture and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Pour in jars.
    Seal using hot flats.
