Cajun Style Vidalia Chips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large Vidalia onion, cut into 8 wedges
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    3 or 4 drops Tabasco
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. Cajun seasoning
    Oil for frying
Preparation
    Separate each onion wedge into chips by pulling off each layer of onion.
    Place onion chips into a bowl of ice water.
    In small bowl, beat together the egg, milk, and Tabasco.
    As the chips are removed from the ice water, drop them into the flour. Shake off excess flour and dip them into egg mixture.
    Then coat with combined bread crumbs and cajun seasoning.
