Company Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 medium potatoes
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 lb. cheese, grated
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and slice crosswise into 1-inch thick slices. Boil until barely tender in a small amount of water.
    When cooked, remove potatoes to a baking dish.
    Measure 1 cup of liquid from the potatoes and return to the pot.
    Add 2 cans soup and 1/2 the cheese.
    Stir while heating slowly until cheese begins to melt. Pour over potatoes in baking dish.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
    Heat in 325\u00b0 oven until sauce bubbles and cheese is melted.
