Black And White Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter, softened
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    pinch of salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 c. nuts (optional)
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar and vanilla and mix well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, blending well after each addition.
    Add salt and flour and mix well.
    Divide batter in halves.
    Add chocolate to one half and mix well.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls, alternating batters, into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Swirl with a knife to marbleize.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Frost and top with nuts, if desired.
    (Nuts may also be added to batter.)
