Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 pt. whipping cream
    3 qt. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    rum flavoring and/or nutmeg
Preparation
    Separate eggs.
    Mix egg yolks, sugar and whipping cream (just as it is, from carton, not whipped).
    Place container over boiling water and cook until coats a spoon.
    Remove and cool, then add flavorings to taste.
