Sausage Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh pork sausage
1 (7or 8 oz.) pkg. seasoned stuffing mix
3/4 c. hot water
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Combine stuffing mix and hot water.
Break sausage into small pieces and add
to\tmoistened
stuffing
mix.
Stir
in onion, celery, egg and baking powder until evenly distributed. Shape into balls, using
1/4
cup
of\tmixture
for each ball. Place in baking pan\tand
cover
with
foil,
securing tightly around pan. Bake in slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Remove foil;
increase oven
temperature to 350\u00b0 and continue baking 25 minutes or until sausage is done.
Yields 18 to 22 balls.
