Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 c. apples, peeled and chopped
    2 1/4 c. flour (unsifted)
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    nuts and brown sugar (for topping)
Preparation
    Cream sugars and margarine; stir in eggs.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Add apples and pour into oiled 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle liberally with nuts and brown sugar. Bake 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    May be served with whipped cream.
