Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage (good size head), chopped for slaw
    green onions
    celery
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. white mustard seed
    salt to taste
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Mix in saucepan vinegar, sugar, salt, turmeric and mustard seed.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over slaw while hot.
    Stir well. Chill overnight.
    This will keep for several days.
