Speedy Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter in a saucepan.
    Add brown sugar and cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add milk and continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat.
    Blend in confectioners sugar gradually.
    Add vanilla and mix well. Thin with cream, if necessary.
    Frost the cooled cake.
