Fresh Strawberries With Sour Cream - cooking recipe

2 pt. boxes (2 lb.) fresh strawberries
2 c. thick sour cream
2/3 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
Preparation

Wash the berries by placing them briefly in a large bowl of cold water.
Pick them out quickly, one at a time, and as you do, remove the stems and hulls.
Place the berries on paper towels to drain; let them stand until they are thoroughly dry.
