Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
2 (3 oz.) cream cheese
1 lb. loaf unsliced (long loaf) white bread (no crust; can get this at bakery)
4 egg whites, beaten
Preparation

Melt butter and cheese over hot water; using a double boiler. Cut bread into 1-inch square cubes.
When cheese is melted; stir to combine and fold in beaten egg whites.
Dip bread cubes into cheese mixture.
Place on tray covered with waxed paper.
Place in freezer.
When frozen, put in plastic bag to store.
Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
