Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced cucumbers
    1 c. thinly sliced onion
    1 c. thinly sliced bell pepper
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine all but vegetables. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Place vegetables in a 2 quart jar, pour liquid over them. Let cool enough to be placed in refrigerator. Ready to eat in 24 hours. These will keep up to one year in the refrigerator.
