Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can evaporated milk (1 c. milk)
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. applesauce
    1 loaf French bread or white bread
    1 Tbsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vanilla, eggs, applesauce, nutmeg and milk. Break bread into small pieces.
    Put into mix and mix well.
    Melt butter; put into deep 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown at 350\u00b0 or 300\u00b0.
    Serve with vanilla ice cream.
