Pasta With Fresh Tuna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 large onion, diced
1 c. Italian peeled tomatoes, drained and chopped
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 lb. fresh tuna (1/2-inch dice)
1/2 c. chopped fresh mint
3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 lb. spaghetti or linguine
Preparation

Place 1/4 cup of the oil and the onion in a large skillet. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the onion is very soft, about 10 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, 1/2 teaspoon of the salt and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper.
Cook over moderate heat, partially covered, until the juices thicken to form a sauce, about 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and set aside.
