Gramma'S Beef Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. round steak
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 to 2 large onions, sliced
small amount of oil
Preparation

Cut meat into serving size pieces. Mix flour, salt and pepper. Pound mixture into meat.
Brown steak slowly on all sides in a little oil in large skillet.
Don't rush this browning step. Remove steak to roasting pan.
Add onions to grease and cook until clear in color.
Put cooked onions on top of meat.
Add gravy. Cover and cook at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours.
(Slow cooking is the key to its goodness.) Serves 5 to 6.
