Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. butter (2 sticks), melted
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and butter.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add flour and extract.
    Spread 3/4 of dough on 16 inch cookie sheet, greased.
    Spread on cherry pie filling.
    Drop the rest of dough on by spoonful.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
