Perfect Peppermint Patties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. confectioners' sugar
3 tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2-3 tsp. peppermint extract
1/4 c. evaporated milk
2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp. shortening
Preparation

In a bowl, combine first four ingredients, add milk and mix well.
Shape into 1 inch balls and place on waxed paper lined baking sheet.
Flatten with a glass to 1/4 inches; cover and freeze for 30 minutes.
In a double broiler or microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and shortening.
Dip patties and place on waxed paper to harden.
