Chinese Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. water
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. chopped scallions
    1 1/3 c. rice
    1 egg
    2 to 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Bring 1 cup of water to boil in saucepan.
    Stir in rice.
    Cook over medium heat until tender.
    Meanwhile, cook egg in butter in a 10-inch skillet until set.
    Add scallions and rice; cook and stir over medium heat until rice and scallions are lightly browned. Combine remaining water and soy sauce.
    Stir mixture into rice.
