Steak Stripes Ol - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 to 1 1/2 lb.) flank steak
    1/3 c. lime juice
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. water
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut steak diagonally across grain into 1/4-inch thick strips. Thread beef evenly onto 36 (6-inch) wooden skewers, weaving back and forth. Place in a shallow dish. Combine lime juice and remaining 6 ingredients. Pour over beef. Cover and chill 30 minutes. Preheat the grill. Cook beef, without grill lid, over medium coals (300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0) 3 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness. Garnish with lime curls, if desired. Makes 3 dozen.
