Aunt Fanny'S Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. yellow squash
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. cracker crumbs + 1/2 c. for topping
    2 eggs
    1 stick butter or oleo
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. sage
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash and cut up squash.
    Boil until tender.
    Drain, then mash. Add all ingredients, except 1/2 of the butter.
    Melt remaining butter.
    Pour mixture in baking dish.
    Spread with melted butter and sprinkle with cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
