Rice, Paella Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ready to cook chicken, cut up
    1 lb. pork meat, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1/2 lb. fish, cut into 1-inch pieces
    3 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground oregano
    8 artichoke hearts
    3 c. broth
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 chopped onions
    2 chopped tomatoes
    2 chopped green peppers
    1 c. shrimp
    8 clams
    3 c. rice
Preparation
    Rub chicken, pork meat and fish with salt and oregano.
    Prepare a broth using the wings, neck and bones from the meat.
    Heat olive oil and saute the onions, tomatoes and peppers.
    Add chicken, pork and fish; mix well and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Add shrimp, clams and broth.
    Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
    Add rice and season to taste.
    Cover and cook over low heat; when almost done (about 25 minutes) add artichokes and peas.
    If possible, serve in the same pot it was cooked in.
    Garnish with strips of pimento.
