Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. Crisco oil
7 heaping Tbsp. self-rising corn meal
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Put Crisco oil in small iron skillet; heat skillet in oven.
Mix the meal and egg in mixing bowl and stir.
Add milk and beat until well blended.
Pour into hot greased skillet.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 450\u00b0.
