Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Red Delicious apples
    5 c. apple juice
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    5 cinnamon sticks
    5 mint leaves
Preparation
    Core apples; place in baking dish.
    Boil apple juice; add sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Dissolve cornstarch in 1 tablespoon water.
    Remove apple juice from heat; stir in cornstarch paste to thicken.
    Pour over apples.
    Place apples in a 400\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until tender.
    Garnish with cinnamon sticks and mint leaves.
