Sugared Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. walnuts
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine both sugars and sour cream in a large saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Continue cooking without stirring to 238\u00b0 on a candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Stir gently until all nuts are coated.
    Turn onto waxed paper.
    With a fork separate the nuts. Let dry.
    Makes about 2 pounds.
