Beef Burgundy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 lb. lean beef stew meat, cut into cubes
    2 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper
    thyme
    marjoram
    1/2 c. beef bouillon
    1 c. Burgundy or red wine
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
Preparation
    In a large skillet, saute onions in oil until brown.
    Remove onions; set aside.
    Brown meat (add more oil, if needed).
    When browned, sprinkle with flour and seasonings.
    Add bouillon and wine; mix well.
    Simmer on low heat for 2 1/2 hours.
    Add more wine, if needed.
    Return onions and add mushrooms; stir well. Simmer 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
    Serve over rice. Serves 8.
