Mexican Corn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. sliced green onion
    1 large minced garlic clove
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    5 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. condensed chicken broth (2 cans)
    1 1/2 c. red salsa, mild (2 bottles)
    1 bay leaf
    1 (12 oz.) can corn, drained
    2 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Saute and stir butter, green pepper, green onion, garlic, oregano, pepper and flour in large pot.
    Add chicken broth, salsa, bay leaf and corn.
    Let simmer.
    Serve warm with shredded cheese and tortilla chips crunched up on top.
