Candy Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sugar
1/4 lb. Karo light corn syrup
Preparation

Boil sugar and syrup using enough water to dissolve.
Do not stir anymore.
Boil to 300\u00b0.
When at 300\u00b0, place wood skewers into stem end of bright red apples.
Dip into the candy syrup, then place on a large, well-greased pan with bottom of apple down. Apples dry in 15 minutes.
(Set pan of syrup in boiling water and dip after the boil is finished.)
