Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. Wesson oil
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. cooked prunes
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Mix sugar and oil.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk-soda mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in nuts and prunes.
    Bake in a well-greased pan for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    While cake is still hot, pour the icing over the cake.
