Pecan Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    2 c. light brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine butter and brown sugar; beat with electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, beating well. Add vanilla and mix in. Sift flour, baking powder and salt; add to sugar mixture and mix well. Stir in pecans. Spoon batter into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle immediately with powdered sugar. Let cool completely and cut into squares.
