French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
    sliced white bread (bread two or three days old is better)
Preparation
    Beat
    eggs well.
    Add sugar and beat.
    When well mixed, add milk and nutmeg or cinnamon.
    Put butter in skillet.
    Dip bread slices
    in
    mixture; coat both sides.
    Fry each side of bread until
    golden
    brown.
    Serve
    hot
    with syrup, honey or preserves.
