Perfect-Every-Time-Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine chocolate, salt, butter and marshmallow cream in a large bowl.
    Reserve.
    Combine evaporated milk and sugar in a large saucepan; place over moderate heat.
    Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil 13 minutes.
    If you are using a candy thermometer, the temperature of the sugar mixture should register 236\u00b0.
    Pour hot milk/sugar over chocolate mixture and beat with a spoon until chocolate is melted and blended.
    Stir in nuts and vanilla.
    Spread into 2 greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pans and refrigerate until candy is firm.
    Cut into small squares.
    Makes about 5 pounds.
