Kosher Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. potatoes
    1 lb. onions, chopped
    scant c. vinegar
    1 good c. oil
    1 good c. water
    1 1/3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 handful Kosher salt (important)
    black pepper
Preparation
    Boil and skin potatoes.
    Add onions, salt and pepper.
    Pour hot liquid which has just come to boil for potatoes.
    Refrigerate. Do not use before 2 to 3 hours.
