Ellen'S Yellow Squash And Green Chilies Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chopped yellow squash
    1 c. chopped onion
    salt and pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 stick melted butter
    1 medium jar chopped pimento
    3 large eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 pkg. crushed Keebler Town House crackers
    1 stick melted butter
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion for 10 minutes after it comes to a boil; drain well.
    While still hot, add salt, pepper, garlic powder, sugar and butter.
    Mix well.
    Add green chilies, pimento and eggs. Pour into casserole dish.
    Sprinkle cheese over squash mixture. Sprinkle crackers over cheese.
    Top with melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
