Manhattan Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. clam juice
    3 c. chopped clams
    1 c. carrots, chopped
    5 c. diced potatoes
    1 c. celery
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/4 tsp. parsley
    1 qt. tomato juice
    1 onion (whole)
Preparation
    Simmer water, clam juice, onion, carrots, potatoes and celery until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook about 30 minutes.
