Golden Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
    1/3 c. chopped green onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    6 medium potatoes, cooked, peeled and grated
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine cheese and 1/4 cup butter in saucepan.
    Stir over low heat until cheese is melted.
    Remove from heat; stir in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.
    Add potatoes and mix gently.
    Pour into a buttered 2-quart casserole; dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
