Cherry Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Add egg and mix with fork. Press half of the crumb mix into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Spoon cherry pie filling over first layer. Top with remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream or dust with powdered sugar.
