Heaven And Earth Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. plain mashed potatoes
2 c. chunky applesauce
3 Tbsp. apple cider
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
paprika

Preparation

Mix together all ingredients, except cheese and paprika. Spread in greased 2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Dust with paprika.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes until cheese is melted and potatoes are heated through.
Could be made a day ahead and heated the next day.
Serves 6 to 8.
