Chinese Fried Walnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    4 c. walnuts
    1/2 c. sugar
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil and add walnuts.
    Heat to boiling and cook for 1 minute.
    Rinse walnuts under running hot water and drain.
    Pour walnuts into large bowl and gently stir in sugar until dissolved.
    (If necessary, let stand for 5 minutes to dissolve sugar.)
